Meet Danielle.

Danielle Pettifor, SLDS at The Dyslexia Code
Danielle Pettifor, SLDS

Danielle is passionate about helping kids transform from struggling readers into confident learners.

She uses the Orton-Gillingham approach to create personalized, engaging plans for each child.

Her online sessions are anything but boring—they’re packed with auditory and visual activities, animations, videos, online tools, and fun games to keep students motivated and fully involved.

Danielle’s mission is simple: make online reading intervention effective, fun, and confidence-boosting, and affordable!

She’s been teaching kids to read since 1998 and has been offering private dyslexia therapy online since 2017. But with so many kids needing help, she knew she had to find a way to reach even more families.

That’s why she created Lexify™—an online reading system designed to make structured literacy therapy both accessible and affordable. It’s Danielle’s way of bridging the gap for families who can’t find or afford professional dyslexia therapy.

If your child is struggling with reading and spelling, don’t wait! The sooner you start, the sooner they can make amazing progress and gain the confidence they deserve.

Meet Danielle's Avatar!

The digital avatar of Danielle is Lexify's friendly coach! Her mission is to help children uncover the deeper thinking behind how reading works, guiding them step-by-step.

With a strong focus on cognitive growth, Danielle introduces skills in a way that builds a solid foundation. Each new concept is like a small puzzle, and she encourages kids to think critically, connect ideas, and apply problem-solving strategies.

Danielle helps kids tackle reading challenges by breaking down complex ideas into achievable pieces, building both skills and confidence.

She shows kids that reading isn’t just something they “have to do” — it’s something they can do, opening up new worlds and sharpening essential thinking skills along the way.

More than anything, Danielle wants kids to feel the joy of discovery, empowering them to unlock a world of knowledge and adventure that will stay with them for life.

What parents say:

The amount of progress our daughter has made since working with Miss Danielle is miraculous.  Our daughter used to hate reading, and was a year behind her grade level.  After working with Miss Danielle, our daughter can not only read books years ahead of her grade level, but she actually enjoys reading.  Words can not express how grateful we are to Miss Danielle.   Kaitlyn H
My daughter was in second grade and when Danielle first met her she was at a kindergarten reading level. We knew that something needed to be done but we didn’t know where to turn or to get the resources we needed. A friend of mine recommended the dyslexia code and we were introduced to Danielle. To say she has been a blessing in our lives in an understatement. We have watched our daughter grow not only in her reading but also her confidence.
As it stands today our daughter is in third grade and her new teacher has been amazed at the growth she has seen in such a short time, that the school asked me what we were doing extra and if they could have her contact information! Danielle you are our hero!  Lauren G
