At the time, I didn’t know what I didn’t know. I didn’t realize that traditional methods weren’t designed for children who learn differently—especially children with dyslexia.
These kids weren’t lazy or unmotivated; they simply needed a different approach. But back then, I didn’t have the knowledge or tools to give them what they needed.
Years later, I made it my mission to change that. I studied dyslexia in-depth, learning to recognize the telltale signs that so often go unnoticed. I immersed myself in the principles of structured literacy—evidence-based methods that are proven to help struggling readers, and I became a Structured Literacy Dyslexia Specialist.
When I began working one-to-one with children who struggled to read, the approach changed everything, and the difference was astounding. I watched children go from tears and frustration to confidence and pride. They began to believe in themselves again, and their world started to open up.
I couldn’t help but think about all the students I had taught in those early years—the ones I didn’t truly help because I didn’t know how. I knew I couldn’t go back, but I also knew I could do something to change things going forward. I could take what I had learned and create something that would reach more children, more families, and more struggling readers who desperately need the right tools to succeed.
I created Lexify™ - a structured literacy program that doesn’t just teach reading—it transforms the way children experience it. It’s a blend of research-backed strategies and the power of play, designed to make learning both effective and fun.
Through interactive games, music, animation, and structured lessons, Lexify gives children the tools they need to finally unlock the written word. And it’s about more than reading. It’s about giving children their confidence back. It’s about helping parents see their child smile again as they realize, "I can read anything I want!"
For me, Lexify is personal. It’s my way of making up for lost time. I’ve seen what’s possible when struggling readers get the right support—and I’m here to make sure your child experiences that same success. Your child’s journey to reading confidence starts here, and I’ll be with you every step of the way.
